Victory City is a family of believers in Yenagoa, Bayelsa State, committed to teaching the Word of God so that every person can live in the victory Christ has won.
The Word Works
Our heartbeat since day one
Victory City began with a simple conviction: the Word of God works. When a person hears it, believes it, and acts on it, their life changes. That conviction still shapes everything we do, from our Sunday Celebration Services to our midweek Word Empowerment & Communion Service.
Today Victory City is home to a growing family of men, women, young people, and children from across Yenagoa and beyond. We gather to worship, to be taught, to pray, and to be sent out to show the love of Christ in our city.

These are the convictions that hold us together as a church family.
We believe the Bible is the inspired, infallible Word of God. It is the final authority for faith and life, and it works for anyone who believes and acts on it.
We believe in one God, eternally existing as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
We believe salvation is by grace through faith in the finished work of Jesus Christ: His death, burial, and resurrection.
We believe in the baptism of the Holy Spirit with the evidence of speaking in tongues, and in the gifts of the Spirit for today.
We believe every believer has been given victory in Christ, and that victory is enforced by knowing and doing the Word.
We believe in the local church as a family where believers are taught, equipped, cared for, and sent to serve their world.
